The last time I saw Janice she was living in Omaha and I was living in Minneapolis. We were downtown shopping by Golds in Lincoln and ran into each other. We were both feeling kind of blue that we never saw anyone we knew. We had a good visit and then went on our merry way. She was expecting a baby within a couple of months and was excited about it. Shortly thereafter I heard that Janice had died during delivery. I believe there was an air bubble in the hypodermic needle. Anyhow the baby survived but her husband was left to raise the child alone. How sad. Janice and I went to grade school together at Huntington so I knew her for a long time. Nadine Turner Jordan
