Duane (Bud) Sowers family had a pool table in their home. To me that meant that they must have been rich. Duane really liked shooting pool, and we would occasionally go over to Nebr. Wesleyan student center to shoot pool if there was an empty table. We would usually be asked to leave after a short time, though. Duane also played clarinet in junior high, but decided not to continue into the LNE high school band.
